B.S., M.A., LMFT, MBA (2024)

I have experience working with minority communities including working with women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients. Minority groups, and couples, particularly those at the intersections of gender, race, and sexual orientation, are often underrepresented in fields of work such as business, tech, and entrepreneurship. I believe therapy can and should be a safe and non-judgmental space that empowers individuals to be able to push their own limits and views of themselves, in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. Being able to embrace oneself and each other is one of the strongest things a person can learn to do.

Women, people of color, and queer and trans people are often told by society that they don’t fit it, and in our work together we can help you to feel as though you do fit. I believe, you can embrace yourself and push yourself without having to succumb to society’s views of your assigned roles, in your professional life, and within your relationships.

Until we learn to actually love everything about ourselves, especially the parts of us other people have said we should change, we’re susceptible to everything. Once you love everything about yourself, nothing can hurt you. I’m here to help you through that journey, and teach you how to embrace your own inner strength, and overcome any barrier you’re facing.

Nathalie Harris-Eckel

Marriage & Family Therapist, MA, LMFT

I work with individuals and couples, and I specialize in: Grief, loss, anxiety, trauma, Marital/Relationship issues, Personal Growth, Communication, Adjustment challenges, women’s issues, LGBTQIA+ community, work and life transitions.

At one time or another, we all find ourselves stuck and struggling to move ahead. We have learned to cope and move through our lives using tools and coping mechanisms that have worked in some ways, but have not allowed us to feel grounded, comfortable, or fully happy with our lives as we progress through them. My job is to work collaboratively with you to create safety and trust through which we can help you develop skills and gain insights, allowing you to reclaim happiness and comfort in your life. I am most passionate about supporting people dealing with Anxiety, Grief, and Life Transition issues.

My approach uses evidence-based practices of Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy, combined with humor, self-attunement, and somatic awareness. The therapeutic alliance between us is essential to your success and is a key component of us working collaboratively together. Working together, let’s delve into the challenges that have brought you into therapy, the strengths and resources we can uncover within you, and discover new possibilities for your life going forward.

Lucia Perasso Blackwell

Pre-Licensed Professional, LMHC-A, SUDP-T

I specialize in working with adults who are struggling to cope with the pressures of life: work, relationships, family, parenting, grief/loss, and cultural/systemic issues. We all struggle at times, and this can leave us feeling depleted and isolated. We might panic and turn to self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviors. Many of us have deeply held beliefs from childhood that impact how we see ourselves, and how we cope with stress as adults. My aim is to help you uncover these old beliefs so you understand yourself in a different light. Together we can create more choices about how to move forward. I offer individual sessions to explore current stressors, process family of origin or relational trauma, and assess underlying mental health or substance use issues. I bring a strong understanding of trauma and attachment theory to our work, and enjoy integrating somatic (body-based) skills, mindfulness, and breathwork to build resilience to stress.

Perhaps you are finding it difficult to navigate traumatic experiences or seeking relief from intense emotions and clarity about how your relationships shape emotional patterns.
