Céad Míle Fáilte — A Hundred Thousand Welcomes I see therapy as a journey we take together — one where I walk beside you, offering safety, structure, and guidance as you explore your path toward healing. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken, but about understanding what has happened to you so that real healing and growth can begin.

About Dawn Nance

Céad Míle Fáilte — A Hundred Thousand Welcomes I see therapy as a journey we take together — one where I walk beside you, offering safety, structure, and guidance as you explore your path toward healing. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken, but about understanding what has happened to you so that real healing and growth can begin. With over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as a Certified TeleMental Health Professional. My career began in Washington State, supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and trauma. My years living and training in Ireland deepened my appreciation for the connection between mind, body, and spirit, shaping my holistic and integrative approach to care. Throughout my work, I’ve continued to specialize in trauma and the cultural influences that shape our healing. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to create a personalized, trauma-informed experience. Working with Native communities — including the Navajo, Hopi, and Yavapai Nations — and with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds has given me a deep respect for resilience and the ways trauma is carried — and healed — across generations. In my practice, I work with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, personal growth, and substance use concerns. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen — a place to explore your story, reclaim your voice, and rediscover your sense of wholeness.
