With 16 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals, including children, teens, families, veterans, and adults of all ages. My work has primarily focused on supporting clients in achieving stability and positive outcomes in areas such as home life, community engagement, and education. I am passionate about helping individuals move forward toward their desired goals, using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as my core therapeutic approach. In addition, I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients dealing with personality disorders, particularly borderline personality disorder, emotional dysregulation, and various psychiatric conditions. My goal is to help those in my care achieve emotional regulation, reduce the intensity of stressors, and improve self-esteem and overall well-being. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Through DBT, I emphasize mindfulness, understanding the consequences of actions, and helping clients analyze patterns in their behavior. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from childhood through older adulthood, ensuring that everyone has access to quality care. Because I believe that moving forward is always a better alternative than being held back by life’s challenges.
